Alapay Cellars
Meaning "above the world" or " heavenly" in Chumash, this winery focuses on the experience of wine tasting, making it fun and enjoyable for anyone. In order to take away the intimidation of wine tasting, the owners developed the trademark phrase, "Come on in, the water's WINE!" They are a small boutique which offers a wide selection ranging from the initial to the new Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, a rose wine crafted from a blend of Rhone varietals, and even a Bordeaux Blend. They produce about 6000 cases a year.
